House of Caspan
Our challenge was to take men’s luxury cosmetic company; House of Caspan from concept to product launch. This was to include the full brand identity, all packaging solutions, web design and printed materials.
Through strategy sessions, we established a tone and aesthetic for Caspan which was steeped in British opulence and eccentricity - “equal parts luxury and levity”, which we reflected across all design executions and touchpoints.
After researching and appraising the numerous e-commerce platforms available we opted to use Shopify to be the power house behind The House of Caspan's new shopfront.
Not only did Shopify's extensive out of the box features tick off all of the client's requirements for day to day handling of products, orders and clients it also offered an extensive set of apis to interact with. This meant that we were able to build the frontend of the site using Next.js with Taiwind and Typscript. Ultimately creating a more performant and flexible frontend that could easily scale for future growth than would be possible using a traditional theme based approach.
